Pakistan beat India in 2016 Asia Kabaddi cup final



 Pakistan successfully defended their Asian Kabaddi Cup title as they defeated arch-rivals India 50-31 in the last match of the tournament at the Pakistan Ordinance Factory Sports Complex in Wah on Friday night.

Pakistan hosted the third edition of the Asia Circle Style Kabaddi Cup for the second time. Earlier it was held in 2012.

The hosts remained undefeated in the five-day competition, which also featured teams from India, Iran, Afghanistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Pakistan’s stopper Sajjad Gujjar made the sealed the victory hindering the Indian raider to get the 50th point of the match.

India also won five out of their six matches.

The tournament took place in a league format, where all six teams played against each other.
