Punjab government (The Department of Sports, Punjab/ Punjab State Sports Council) announced that the 5th World Kabaddi Cup 2014 would be held from 6th December to 20th December, 2014. The Kabaddi tournament will take place at fourteen different areas in the State of Punjab, India.
This time India and Pakistan are jointly hosting 5th World Cup Kabaddi to foster goodwill, brotherhood and strong friendship between the 2 nations.
Punjab deputy CM Sr. Sukhbir Singh Badal has approved the names of proposed teams which include India, Pakistan, Argentina, USA, UK, Scotland, Canada, Seora Leon, Spain, Kenya and Denmark in men’s category.
The teams in women’s section will be from India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Kenya, UK, Malaysia, Denmark and Mexico.
