
Faisalabad—Pakistan will host Asia Cup Kabaddi Tournament which will be played from May 2 to May 6 at Wah Cantt and teams of 7 countries are expected to participate in it.
Talking to the media here on Sunday, Secretary General Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that all arrangements were being completed rapidly to hold the Asia Cub Kabaddi Tournament in a befitting manner.
He said foolproof security arrangements have been made for Kabaddi teams of Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Iran.
Meanwhile, Regional Kabaddi team from Faisalabad proceeded to India for participation in International Kabaddi Championship scheduled to be played at Sports Complex Haryana.
Secretary General Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Muhammad Sarwar said here on Saturday that the regional team of Faisalabad comprised of 15 players, team manager and coach.
Regional Kabaddi teams of nine countries, including Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Canada, India and Korea will take part in the championship, he added.—APP
